My mother was a policy holder from Bajaj Allianz from 10 yrs, then we got her shifted from Bajaj to Max bupa due to great selling skillset of the BDE of Max-Bupa.
In 10 yrs of her coverage, she had never been hospitalised neither claimed any coverage .
She is with Max Bupa for the past 2 yrs, never she had claimed any kind of illness. Suddenly in Jan 2014, she got some palpitation in heart and we got her admitted in Apollo, the Dr. suspected that is the case of Arterial bifurcation, which we came to know after she was admitted and tests has been done. The doctors suspected that she has hole in the heart but after tests that is fizzle out. She doesn’t have any such problem. She was hospitalised for 7 days and Max Bupa has denied the cashless hospitalization telling us that she has hole in the heart and that was not disclosed at the time of buying policy.
If she has a hole in the heart from birth, then why she has never been hospitalised in 62 yrs of age? There was no such case, all happened due to false preparation of reports by Max Bupa doctors. If someone has this kind of problem then why has she never been hospitalised and never claimed? I was unable to understand the reason provided by them. Then they asked me to submit all the bills including Dr. written statement about her condition, everything’s had been done 1 and half month back, till now I have been following with them and writing to them, only what I am getting response from them is

These people are cheaters! At the time of selling policies they make false promises.
Anyway, I request all my friends, never take any policy from them, you can depend on Bajaj ALLIANZ, Future Generali etc but never ever think of buying Max Bupa policy.
