Nivea Men Oil Control Moisturizer is more talk, and less work. I had used this product for almost 5 months and it really did not make any difference to my face, much less to oil control.
Yes, Nivea has this derma experiments and vitamin complexes where we are given promising results: for a whitening effect by potentially reducing appearance of dark spots, reduces facial oils for 12 hours, and elimination of acne-causing germs by up to 99% . But trust me, whoever they did this experiment to, must have silky, poreless skin.
Let me start by saying yes, unlike this one brand that I tried, it will not make your face oily for an hour or two after applying, but it surely did not last for an oozing 12 hours. I still felt that same sticky feeling in my face. Second, it surely did not remove 99% of acne-causing germs in my face. I still had pimples days and even months after usage. And don’t tell me that the remaining 1% may be causing my pimple outbreaks. Lastly, it did not remove dark spots in my face. My sister told me it even worsened at one point.
Regarding fragrance, I rated it a 3 out of 5. The smell is not pleasing nor it is offensive.
In conclusion, I can say that this facial moisturizer is really not worth your money. For me, you pay more and get less results. If this product does work on others, then good for them, but it certainly wasn’t able to do its magic on me.
