This is the place where I have been visiting since the time I can remember. The place is pioneer in terms of kathi kabab and rolls as we know it today. Went to this place again after a long gap(to be precise, first time after beef was taken off the menu). Ordered the usual stuffs, paratha, chicken kabab, mutton kabab, chicken bharta and finished off with firni. To be honest, the quality of the kababs, specially, is not the same anymore. The mutton kabab was a real let down, the meat was not well cooked. The chicken bharta was nothing so special. Paratha and firni was very good.
Coming to the ambience part, they have notched up a bit, but they should really look into the quality of the food. I mean who cares for a good ambience if the food is not what it used to be.
Customer service is somewhat good, as always have been. The waiter who served us was very polite(also gave us the reason as to why beef was taken off the menu).
Value for money, I must admit, with the current state of quality of food is not very high, which really burdens my heart to write. The management should really look into the matter, after all many people I am sure, have very fond memories of this place. If I have to rate on the count of 10, I will give 6.
