I’ve been plagued with dandruff since I was 14 years old and now I almost 25. I have had one of the worst cases of dandruff I have seen amongst all my friends (or whoever I knew). Flaking, itching, scratching, dry scalp, hair-fall - you name it, I had it. It was so acute that it had affected my self-confidence very badly.
I had given every single shampoo in the market a try. Ayurvedic, allopathic, whatever - even the expensive ones with the tall claims. Tried everything from sachets to full bottles, but nothing worked. It did, but temporarily. The itching would stop for a day at the max and then it would come back full force. The problem is at its worst on the days following a haircut from the saloon. I’ve always been reluctant to go to the parlour cos I knew that the guy cutting my hair would be disgusted seeing the dandruff flakes coming up from my head.
Finally, I tried Nizoral. I had heard of it from a friend (who happens to be a doctor). Yes, it is a bit expensive, but it’s better you invest in a bottle than live with dandruff for the rest of your life. Believe it or not, after the first application itself, the flakes started disappearing. I could comb more freely without the fear of flakes falling over my shoulders/clothes. And with the second application, the itching too disappeared! This was too good to be true! I continued the application as prescribed on the bottle for one more week and I’ven’t looked back since! I have got two haircuts too after that and my barber was almost shocked to find no dandruff on my head! I told him the secret and he assured me he would spread the good word about this amazing product! Believe me I am not the kind who would send feedback mails or post reviews like this. But I was so impressed that I shot off an e-mail to Johnson & Johnson telling how good a product they had and how badly they need to advertise it better!
