After listening to some great songs from Boney Kapoor’s otherwise insipid BEWAFAA , one was expecting some good scores from NO ENTRY .More so because it had everything going in its favour -amazing star cast , great music director [Anu Malik] , high production values and many more .But after listening to the album , I was disappointed big time .
To start with none of the songs are that great .All songs are passable fare .And what is more annoying is that majority of songs are predictable and remind you of outdated music of 8o’s .And add to it some vulgar lyrics which is at peeks !
The opening title track ’No Entry/Ishq Ki Galli’, has Sonu and Alisha singing the extremely rude, crude and vulgar dance number that has very appalling lyrics . Is this the same SONU NIGAM who once said he will never sing such songs ! Every time I listen to this song with my sister , I forward it because the beginning of song is so vulgar in approach that its shameful ! Add to it , terrible looking Bipasha , I always switch off the channels if it comes on TV !
Main Akela’ is next soundtrack sung by has Sonu Nigam which is pathetic to say least .What could you expect from lyrics like
char din ki kahaani
jaake phir naa aaye khubsoorat jawwani .
’Ishq Mein’ has K.K. and Sunidhi Chauhan singing in their typical style . The song is stale and so so .
’’Dil churake ’’ is sung well by Alisha but is straight lift from previous songs of Anu Malik .
’ Hot Hot/Kalyug Ki Laila’ has the trio of Sunidhi, Alisha and Vasundhra singing this number for the lead actresses of ’No Entry’ and they go ’’Kalyug ki laila hain hum, Kyun humko aaye sharam, Aapke liye bas aapke liye, Ishq hamara garma garam.’’The song hams to the hilt .
Kumar Sanu and Udit Narayan join hands once again for a situational song ’Kahan Ho Tum’ and with such dynamic combo , you expect masterpiece .But this is the worst song in the entire album ! ’
Dil Paagal Hai’ once again has Kumar Sanu and giving him company are Alka Yagnik and K.K. The lyrics go ’’ Dil to dil hai, Dil Paagal hai, Dil ka kya kasoor, Jab paas ho aisa huzoor.’’ This song is truely harmful to your ear !
Finally the nightmare ends With words like ’’ Honey, honey, Kiss me honey, ’’ !
On the whole , album of NO ENTRY is a disaster with none of the songs being of chart topping variety .Disappointing !
