Kinda' Slow and Low

This is one of Garth Brooks’ more mellow album, although it does contain his crossover hit ’’Friends in Low Places’’ with the extra verse that he can’t sing on some US television. O

Other single hits include ’’The Thunder Rolls, ’’ ’’Unanswered Prayers’’ and ’’Two of a Kind, Workin’ on a Full House.’’ All of those are kind of introspective, heavy duty music. Where many of Garth’s other albums have one or two really rocking kind of songs, this keeps the beat slow and easy, so lacks the balance of that song or two that’ll get your toes tapping and your hands clapping.

While it is an enjoyable album, as are most by this entertainer, I would recommend it as mood music or dinner music rather than a party kind of album.
