I am an owner of a property. seven years back I listed same with NObroker. for renting out the same quickly. however, it did not happen at that time. I finalized a tenant myself through other source, before NObroker decided to send adequate lead.
in between they were calling incessently and queried if the place if available. now recently, I have been served notice by tenant willing to vacate the same by November end. same information was passed on to one representative calling and agreed to activate the property on their site. without asking any other question, the same guy somehow activated the whole thing with advertisement on NOBROKER site. when customers started calling, it came to my knowledge that they activated it on the same age old rent and deposit.
luckily a sensible guy spoke to me in a friendly manner and informed how these companies are charging everyone to provide leads to such rentals. for them, money paid gets wasted and also a wrong message goes into the market on the property getting leased out.
I immediately informed the concerned guys, but nothing happened, bombardment of calls continued. seeing this finally, I opted to list out my place by mail. however listing out was done but see their attitude. sending me a mail to congratulate that the place has been rented out. not only that, their query whether it was through NO Broker and what rent was it given away.
This type of companies know only FRAUDULENT ways to spam gullible people.
