This phone has been my companion since 2004! It fell on the ground several times but still continues to give me service. I changed its battery last year. In the past one year it has hung about six or seven times during which I removed the battery and again placed it back.
It got back to life immediately. It got wet in the rain and all I did was to wipe it off the rain drops on the screen with a clean cloth that’s all. Of late its standby time has come down, I need to charge the phone every alternate day. The very fact that it still continues to be of good service speaks volumes for the reliability of this product.
This is by far the best and most simple instrument that can be given to grandmothers (my mom who is 62 year old is most comfortable using this phone) and other elders at home who need the basic feature to communicate without the hassles of a complicated menu bar for them. If your contact list is less than 200 then this serves the purpose exceedingly well.
