My first phone..... which I had to ditch on account of my need for GPRS.... It’s an ideal and rugged entry level phone for people on the move. I’ve dropped it numerous times, but it still works very well. The torch is an added blessing and always proved its worth in times of need. I wonder why Nokia doesn’t put something that basic and important on all its phones.
The display itself being non colour has the virtue of being always on, a very good feature when you are travelling in another city so that you can check the names of the places that you are passing through, unlike the colour phones which go into screen saver mode.
It’s loud ringtones can be heard even in the most noisy conditions. It’s ruggedness makes it ideal for those who have to travel all around town on account of their work.
