I purchased the Nokia 1110 because of it’s low cost and attractive design. It is a good phone for it’s price. It has good reception and clear sound quality. It has an excellent battery life. It has all the basic necessary features like SMS, different ring tones, alarm, lighted alert, etc. It has one touch access to address book, SMS, and missed calls. It is light weight, 80 gms, and sleek. Available is different colours, black, grey, blue. It can store 200 numbers in it’s memory.
The cons are that it has a black and white display, but the icon graphic display is attractive. Without the back light the display is not cearly visible.
The Nokia 1110 was introduced in 2005, and the Nokia 1110i was introduced in 2006. The features are the same, the display is slightly different. I found it available at Alfa Shop, Parle (W), for Rs.1700/- (as on 5/11/06).
