An under warranty 5 months old nokia 1600 of mine working fine, one fine day, morning, saw insert sim error when the sim was inside
gave it to nokia care, said, water !!! has gone in...they can say...they do not want to give warranty replacement!!! instead, let them not fool around clients....by saying things which are not true...
any way, I threw the handset out (this is my second experience with nokia handset (once bitten, twice bitten!)
would never buy or recommend a nokia in my life to any one...
so what if phones are good, userfriendly, if the brand doesnt care about after sales, they are bound
to die soon....
thats true to any product or service beyond geo boundaries...
thanks to nokia for having given an opportunity to create a customer thru their great branding ads, make the customer (not) to use the product atleast till warranty (say atleast one year!) but could not service it within that period...
most of the big brands in my experience, are like this....
HCL laptops, Airtel, Hutch Mobile services...only the vision, mission and values are there just in their corporate philosophy.....
in reality..............???.............its like this.........
