That was the time some 2 months back when I planned to change my phone.
I was not very interested in high end phones.So I was looking out for a decent basic phone. And who else other than Nokia can offer this.
So I was out to go for nokia 2600, and I saw this 1600. The guy told me this is the latest phone from nokia and we got it just 2 days back.
So I thought lets go for it as I always trust Nokia, so no need to check the reviews.
I asked the salesman for a black color one and he said black color is out of stock as every showrrom in bangalore has got only 2 phone each in black and silver.
So I went out in search of a black 1600. Luckly I got one in another showrrom for 3900 Rs. and I was the only person having this phone for atleast 1 month in my circle.After getting that phone only I came to know it has this talking alram and what not.
Now lets look in to the details:
Price : 3900
Features : All basic nokia features + talking alram clock + polyphonic ring tone + mono ring tone composer + count down timer + new games as cricket, football.
Battery : Battery life is good. I talk a lot on my phone but still I need to recharge it only 2 times a week.
Kepad : Kepad is very attractive and gives you a feeling as if you are using a phone of Rs 15000. :))
Screen : its not very big, but good enought to have a clear view of menus. But it’s not very protected and may get some marks if you are keeping it into your jeans pocket.
So friend if you are looking for good basic phone, stop your search and just for this 1600.
Ohh did I mention that this has a speaker phone which is very usefull when you are talking in a closed room. But sound quality is not good and if you in a trafiic the other guy can hardly hear what you are saying.
