Nokia has launched a new smartphone called Nokia 2, rather I should not say new, you will know why lets quickly go through its specifications. Nokia 2 comes with 5" inch Display with Corning Gorilla glass and have good contrast ratio,
( And this is the only one good thing about this phone, yes thats it). Further going the phone has 4100 mah lithium ion battery which they claim to give a stand up for good 2 days. The phone runs on Android version 7.1 Nougat out of the box and could get an update to next version that is Oreo. Coming to under the hood the phone contains a very rare processor that is Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 clocked at 1.7 GHz, Guys this is not a new processor and is an old processor released around 2015. The processor is quad core and is based on cortex A 7 with Adreno GPU. These specs are nor up to date or best in class as you can see.
The phone comes with 1 GB Ram and 8 GB of internal storage which I dont know why should be worth buying in 2017 going to an end. The year with some great smartphones released, Like Xiaomi Redmi series, etc.
The phone does not have any much other features rather it carry few basic sensors and lack sensors like Gyroscope and also does not support OTG. The phone has not given great scores in benchmarks results and thats obvious.
Coming to the Style and Design the Phone looks basic and have a plastic body with aluminium frame.
Look and Feel is on the okay side.
The camera on Nokia 2 is 8 megapixels on the rear and 5 megapixels on the front which give an acceptable quality of pictures and videos.
The specifications of the phone convey that the phone will not be much well performing and will lack standards of basic usage. The phone is not coming with anything thats new and worth value for your money that too priced at around 7000 Rupees. The phone is already having outdated specs.
2017 coming to an end and I would definitely not recommend this phone to anyone as there are much anticipated phones awaiting 2018 and even if you dont like them you have other options from 2017 itself.
