A good looking dual sim phone

A month back I bought Nokia 206 phone, my requirement was a dual sim budget phone. Had plan to buy samsung dual sim phone which was around 3.2k. When I saw this phone I didn’t think twice just bought it. The phone looks very simple elegant with a hint of lumia series. This phone has the biggest screen of 2.4inches in this category. Price I paid at sangeetha mobiles in Bangalore was 3719k which includes insurance and swift service. In India this phone is available in black, white, cyan three colors. Mostly white will always be out of stock so settled on cyan. The phone has a very soft and spaciously placed keypad which makes typing easy but is hindered with the slow response from the device I mean there is considerable lag.

The camera is 1.3MP which is out of market nowadays and also the clarity is not so good. one out of two sims is hot swappable which is a good feature. contacts manager is really bad. if both the sims are having same contacts lists they will appear twice in the address book. You don’t have a choice to select which contacts should be displayed like in Nokia 5130 which has a feature to display only sim contacts or phone contacts. audio player has no equaliser presents audio quality is not upto the mark. The handsfree supplied is of cheaper quality and has no call answer button at all which destroys its purpose of being handsfree. The built-in FM is okay catches all the stations. One added feature which I like is FM recording

There are certain pre-installed web based apps like ebuddy, viber, YouTube, Facebook are good there is also UTV app where you can watch online videos. I tried watching one but the buffering kept me away from it. I mean it buffers every minute for upto two mins. The display brightness is adjustable. The screen has widget kind of feature which is also personalizable. One biggest con of this phone is lack of USB CONNECTIVITY yes there is not usb connectivity. Atleast they should have made removal of memory card easier but the slot is under the back panel which makes files transfer a cumbersome task one has to remove the back panel to remove memory card. Coming to battery backup, for my usage it gives me four days backup. Well nokia claims 20hrs of talktime and 370 hrs of standby which is over estimation and an exaggeration. Overall this phone is a mixture of good and bad features.
