Hi frndz, , ,
thanx a lot for ur kind appraisal for my review on nokia 2300. here I am again spending some time with u for reviewing Nokia 2112,
<looks>:- the first impression of nokia 2112 is sleek and user friendy. many of my freinds will remember nokia 1100 but in looks 2112 is a hybrid of 2100 and 1108. keypads are astheticlly designed and on the whole looks is appealing. backlight and flash lights are there and they are white in colour so u can assure of better viewing in nights.
<Features>:- the salient feature of 2112 is its loud speaker which is difficult to loacate for the firs time user. actually GUI screen shows loaction of the network so to locate loud speaker please press exit key and voila there u get the speaker. the ring tones are MIDI and nokias property tones . they are loud and alomst gives a look to 2300 tones.
the second thing u please note that unlike LG moonlight nokia doesnt suppot video and audio streaming in its R world so aajtak and ndtv can not be displayed on nokia 2112.
the third thing is that though the cover shows that u can record up to 180 seconds of voice yet the actual time is only 60 sec that is 1 minute to be precise.
rest all the feauteres are typical nokia phone features. sms and call forwarding etc.
though nokia claims high about its battery life esp its stand by time, yet again the real picture is that u can use 2 days stand by time along with 1.30 minutes call time at maximum.
overall it s serious threat for LG moonlight, Samsung Slim , and Samsung Boss. the LG and Samsung are slower in software and this is precisely the place where nokia exels though samsung boasts of largest phone book of 2000 names and LG claims Java in moonlight yet performance wise they are bit lower than omnipresent and omnipotent Nokia.
i would recoomend it if u are not the kind of the user who want s bluetooth , FM radio on ur cell.
if u are one of the above then please look for LG sets in which u will find the above features in the range of 4800-5200.
