Very nice: Buy 10 of these instead of NGage

I really love this handset. Being a mobile user for over 10 years I have come across only a few nice sets. One is Ericsson T10, Next is Nokia 3350

I think I will add 2112 to the same list, simply because it is a sturdy set and is cost effective.

For 2800Rs a piece, you really cannot go wrong. I was using LGRD2130 rather unsuccessfully for 2 years. I decided to switch to this when LGRD2130 died during a call.

All these new fangled handsets are nice to begin with. But when the honeymoon period is over (ie, after you have gotten bored with Camera, Browsing, Coffee making, Video, Radio etc), you really want the phone to make and receive calls (and SMS for the textually active people).

My Nokia has gone through many falls (one in the sink!), bumps and it still works like a charm. If it gets really wet simply remove the covers, wipe it, dry it in sun and reuse it.

Featurewise, it has a Multiple entry address book (a feature that I use very often). Quick recall from Address book, Torch (very handy), T9 SMS, Speakerphone (good for conference calls and family arguments), Calendar reminders (Special category for Calls, Birthdays, memos)

You can download Nokia PC Suite and keep Addressbook and Events synced. You will need CA42 cable (1750Rs! from Nokia dealer). Also you need this cable for RConnect. A bit pain to setup the drivers though.

So in short, if you want a sturdy phone that no one wants to steal, buy this.

If you want to impress a GirlFriend/Boyfriend, buy 10 of these and buy 10 clipon colors.
