Poor mans mp3 player

Review :

Nokia 2300---- this is a great phone, loaded with all the latest gadgets and really a technosavy’s dream if I would be saying this then am surely writing about something else

Actually this is phone just for communication (COMMUNICATOR).It is noway a great phone it doesnt even have a coloured display. Looks are ok.Nothing great.I think that black ang grey one is quiet decent.

The keypad is also not very userfriendly. It takes some time to get used to it.You will find your self pressing multuiple keys.

You can store around 90 msgs and there is an option for screened numbers .Really a needless thing.

But what it has, and the only ........only resaon one should go for it is the radio. If you are in mumbai or for that matter any metro you have many radio channels. The reception is quiet good and you also have a speaker. But if you want to listen to the speaker make sure ther is pin drop silence. Actually you may hear better from the earphones on full kept at adistance rather than the speaker. OK a bit of exaggeration.

You may argue that in todays age of mp3 players, who needs a radio.Firstly for a mp3 player you need to shell out a lot os cash . Secondly this my personal opinion is that with radio you seem to enjoy the music a little more better. The bakwas of the rj and the differnt contests kind of hooks you on .But in a radio you will not always get what you want.

Wait wait it comes with plyphonic tones.... Gr8.But the catch is no gprs you cannot download new polyphonic tones

I have heard that this a very poblem phone, but the one I have hasnt given any problem yet.

Touch Wood.......

I think every phone blows out .Ha that screen saver hangs. But come on, I will say if your budget is 4-5 grands then it is really the only thing you should opt for.
