I purchased my Nokia 2300 four month back and I have no problem with it so far. I can suggest this phone only for its price range (< Rs. 4500/-) with FM option. The phone is ok except the keypad.
If you have read the other reviews they also describes about the poor keypad design. Pressing keys normally can press the key twice or not at all.
For those who like good stereo sound of FM radio (that?s what FM radio is meant to deliver), you’ll be disappointed for sure cause the FM in this model delivers mono sound. It has a dual-piece mono headset included which acts as radio antenna.
I think the main attractions for this phone are
1) Small and nice to hold.
2) Loud and good quality Polyphonic tones.
3) Hands free (Group talk can be done)
4) FM Radio
5) Good battery life.
The negatives
1) Keypad design.
2) Only 50 Phonebook memory.
3) Plastic look
For those who don?t care about the keypad design and needs Fm at the lower cost this is the phone for them. Last I want to add that you will find people writing reviews with worst experiences with every model including this one. I think this is a nice basic phone if you are not attracted towards coloured screen but want polyphonic tones and FM radio.
