I have brought Nokia 2300 as my old Nokia 8310 started giving problem. I used 8310 for almost 2 years without any problem. But one day its FM got down and to repair it I have spend 1500 Rs. as it requires software installation. That time this 2300 phone came in market and it was very chip. So I sold my old 8310 and buy 2300 for only 4, 600 Rs.
Nokia 2300 got popular as because of its low cost and its the first phone which gives in built FM radio at this low cost. SO for everyone its economical...SO I also did the same...I feel glad by its good look and sexy panel and key style...But..after two months..its speaker went down...I am using it on vibrator now..its almost mute..
The shpkeeper also said that the same complaints are there for this model from other buyers..
Also the FM QUALITY is worst!! almost...
So please..please..if you are buying this phone for listening FM..then dont do that..and also dont be attract by its low cost. See , if you are geting such a feather at this cost means there should be something laking in the quality..You can not listen to FM while traveling..I mean not because of the reception but the sound quality..Even if you listen with the full volume then also not enough..I tried several times to increase the volume even if it was maximum already while traveling in bus..it was irretating really...You think that the sound is low and will go to UP butten to increase it but then you will be disappointed by seeing on the panel that its already at the maximum level...My old 8310 was very fine ..I used to listen only upto sound level 3 by that phone..
Ohter feachers like SMS, ringtones are normal...that every cell phone has..
Other features are ok..but yes, you are not having sufficient money and your budget is arounf 4, 500 then this phone will work for you..
Now I have to cell my this 2300 for around 3000 bugs and buy a new one....
So think before you buy..what you want? A QUALITY or Money??
