I got this phone four months back after dumping my ol Motorola C350. After having used this new nokia thoroughly, I can say it is worth the money spent. One of the things I like about this phone is its battery backup. This phone just wouldn?t let you down even if you have only one bar remaining on screen.
Then there is a lot cheer about if you are a radio junky, besides the polyphonic tunes. Though radio reception is good Nokia should have provided a stereo headset. The number screening function and sms filter are very helpful if you get a lot of forwarded content.
Of course, it is sturdy like other Nokia?s. I have dropped it a number of times, still no scratches or any other problem. In fact, I find it better than my former nokia 3310, which developed snags after I dropped it on the floor.
There is only one problem with nokia 2300- the phone book can save only 50 entries. But, overall, it is a good phone in its segment. If you are not very keen on colour screen, GPRS/WAP and multimedia, and are looking for a good basic phone, this is a cool deal.
