This phone is for people who like to talk and use it for phone purpose only. It exactly suits the ideal business type phone which lets you talk and using required applications at the same time. At 6500, a simple phone with bluetooth/infrared, from nokia brand, ummm. it should be grabbed in.
The look is cool, will satisfy you, at the first glance its ok, may be impressive. To be fully satisfied, you need a glance at the product feature. brochure.
Its not a slim/sleek design marvel but it does its job very good.
One thing I am noticing in this very particular set, the signal reception is not upto the Nokia mark. Its behaving like the LG way sometimes in enclosed areas. Donno whether its a particular set problem or design problem. My other 2112/6235 are working like rockets.
R world is a mess, huge mess. from the very forst hour "forbidden error:403" is popping up on every R connect click via minibrowser. After many tries its running the applications, not reliably though. Ph book downbload, simply not working.
I have every reason to believe there is some compatability problem(software upgrade may b) arising between the set and r world. I need to visit the service centre soon.
The joystick is quite soft, unlike many sets, which is hard at the first shot, gets soften later.
Data transfer/Internet is smooth. No problem for phone to phone transfer via infrared also.
I cannot send many pics/images downloaded from R world via infrared to my wifes phone. Same pic/images can be transferred from her 6235 to my 2865. Always giving copyright problem. Seems like my phone has only that copyright issue.huh. stupid issue.
Sound Reception is clear and radio is ok.
Overall, if my probs get overcome at the service center this set is recommended.
(i apologize for thespelling/grammer errata, in a hurry).
