I bought Nokia 3110 Classic in March 2008 and feel this is right time
to write a review on this product. Nokia has taken a bold step to stop
the sales of Nokia 3630 and started promoting 3110. This move has
worked well and Nokia has come up with an excellent product.
I was looking for a cell phone
which would have a camera, bluetooth and music player which would also
not empty my pocket. Nokia 3110 Classic is just this piece. It has a
1.3 Mega pixel camera(not much clarity but short range pictures come
pretty good). The camera is far better than a VGA camera. The music
player quality is good too. Since I have a 1 GB card, many songs can be
stored. The good news is that the memory can be extended to 2 GB. But I
do not have any such intentions as of now. This phone has Bluetooth and
Infrared also.
Although this cell has such features, there are some
shortcomings as well. The battery when fully charged lasts only for 48
hrs without using music player etc. When music player, camera etc is
used, it comes for nearly 33-34 hrs. I feel Nokia could have done
better in this aspect. Also, Nokia does not include data cable when
buying the product. This has to be bought separately. All in all, I
would just like to say that if you are looking at a product that will
be filled with features at less price, then this is the one you should
be looking at. This is certainly better than Sony Ericsson
W200i(motorola doesn’t have a phone matching such features and price).
SE has a VGA camera and does not have bluetooth. This surely makes a
good buy. At least it has made it for me.
