I purchased Nokia 3110c after doing a wide research from different mobile magazines and peer reviews and having a hands on experience wth the device.I purched it from Bangalore at Rs 4550 from a Nokia Priority dealer in Koramangla with 512 MB memory card bundled.Here are the reasons I would suggest you to give this product a try:
1.I had a Nokia 5700 Xpressmuzic phone earlier and when I got 3110c it turned out to be a pleasant surprise in many respects.
a)Loud speaker quality is comparable to 5700, the processor is fast enough to remind me of 5700,
b)all the menu features are very much similar ot 5700 like standby mode available, a comparable music player equipped with equaliser.
There are many features in this phone which makes it superior even to other higher end mobiles I have used( 5700 and N70).:
1.Very spacious keypad unlike 5700 and N70 which I possessed earlier.
2.The Handset cable is rugged which bears the wear and tear unlike N70 cable and 5700 cable which used to crack at the slightest accidental twisting exposing the copper wires beneath.
3.It is less bulky compared to N70 and 5700 both.
4.It is packed with so many features at even less than half the price of N70 or 5700.
5.Data can be transferred very eaily to and from 3110c if u have a cable without the need pf any PCSuite software.
6.The earplugs are not isolators like the ones in 5700 but are far better than the ones provided with N70.
Can do with Negatives:
1.Poor flash and 1.3 MP makes the capturing of pictures with decent clarity virtually impossible.
2.Video format supported is 3gp which is not as smooth as MP4 which was supported by N70 and 5700.
All in all a very very economical lower end mobile from Nokia.The features provided even are comparable to some higher end Sony handsets.So if u can manage with few shortcomings and budget is ur concern 3110C automatically becomes ur best pick of the lot.
