This is my 3rd review in MS... My last review was about 2 and half months back ...after that I had a horrible accident...was in the hospital for 2 months...I hope all of you wear a helmet while driving a bike.!!
Now, coming to the review of this wonderful phone :
This camera phone is the best value for money Nokia has ever offered. And the strangest thing of all is that I dint even know that such a model exists. I have always been a diehard critic of Nokia phones coz I thought that they wew grossly over-priced(due to their brand name) ...all my previous cellphones have been Samsung.
Last saturday, I went to my nearby phone shop (witha budget of 10k) and was mainly interested in Nokia 6610, or the sony ericsson t610....both of them have a very gud feedback. Then suddenly the dealer popped out this little gem called Nokia 3200 and I made the decision to purchase this one almost instantly. I will try to explain why I bought this one over the other two.
The Nokia 3200 has a camera, voice recorder and a flash light which the 6610 doesnt have. Also, the price of the 3200 is 1000 bucks less than the 6610. On the other side, the 6610 has a more sleek and executive look while the 3200 is funky. The most astonishing feature of this phone is that u can change the look anytime with the 5 interchangeable covers provided. And more importantly u can make ur own designs!! I hope all u artists out here r listening. One major disadvantage of this phone is the dual-key buttons which not only look clumsy but is a real pain in the *ss while typing a sms....But I am not a SMS guy...so its not really a disadvantage for me.
I left out the Sony ericsson t610 coz my frnds had a lot of probs with sony ericsson models like bad reception and poor battery life etc. And when u r getting all the features in a similar/lesser priced Nokia phone. then it makes little sense to buy it. Also the T610 is bulkier and dint feel good in the hand.
I had been totally satisfied with the voice quality, FM clarity and the pics taken by the camera (of course the resolution is not as gr8 as the nokia 6600 ...but I guess u hv to settle for it at this price) of this phone...So guys here it is... a gr8 little phone from Nokia which offeres excellent value for money and all the features u need....go 4 it if ur budget is below 10k and u can digest the looks and the dual-key butttons.
PS. I got this one for 8250/- together with 1 year theft insurance and 2 yr warranty....not a bad deal I feel !! what say?? -aditya
