Hi Folks,
I have just purchased (May05) Nokia 3230 on the recommendation of my sweet little daughter and I was not very much sure about the phone except its looks. It appeared to me more as a younger ninja of Sony Ericssonss T610. Well, now I have become used to it for last one month and would like to share it with everyone:
It is a smart phone and it has almost all the features, we ask for or need everyday right from messaging (sms/mms/email, etc.) to camera to video to visual radio (Still trying to find out what is its visual part) and your mini PDA to record your engagements and notes and entries. It can be synchronised with PC, hence ok.
The much hyped tiny keyboard is the most happening feature, I learned to like only after using it, once you get used to it, you better forget it, except the navigation joystick, menu and calling buttons. Cooool man ! its small and stylish.
The screen is big enough and the memory is small enough when you really start using it for day to day use practically, you learn to believe life is to be easy and enjoy.
The good thing about the phone is well it is stylish and happening and it is All-in-one. The bad thing is its slow (but I suppose you are not in a hurry for a fast phone) and The Ugly part is after all it is not bad except the user manual which is completely non-user-friendly you will read (recite) it when you need it most and learn nothing till after a few days experimenting with your gadget and then rediscovering the user-manual.
So while you relax, your phone is active and alert. And remember when you get bored there are GAMES people play.......
So Till you get another one, Have it, 3230 is live and kicking.... and worth having a date with.
