I have a Nokia 3310 cellphone , after using it for one and a half years.3310 started giving problem of missing calls phone is not reachable please dial again later.
I took this phone to Nokia authorized service center Bright Point first thing they did was to upgrade the software and charged me Rs275 for that.
But this doesnt solve the problem I have to again go back after 2 days to them.This time they changed the part PW AMP 900/1800MHZ 34DBM 3.5V GSM without notifying me , and charged me Rs.370/-
It worked for a month and again same problem happened as it was under repair warranty of 90 days (which is changed to 60 days) I have to again take it back and they again upgraded the software.
It was again not rectified this time I talked to one senior person in service center and got the assurance that she would personally look into the repairs and this time they told me its the problem with my service provider.
After wasting 2 months service center was not able to repair the phone and gave me the silly reason of problem with service provider, well the problem is that this phone is not working with any service provider.
The only thing these service center know is to upgrade the software. Every year you have to change your handset this is very expensive.
