No doubt it is one of the best lookers of Nokia range... but I wouldnt recommend this bare minimum feature handset to anyone. I simply fail to understand the high prices of any Nokia phone as compared to other brands.
Main argument for the handset is its value-for-money... but I’d not agree to it... other feature rich handsets are available at almost same price. I have been using various handsets and in past 5 years I have never used such a basic feature handset... if you leave Ericsson 315 aside. Even golden oldie Nokia 1610 had more features! I sold the handset within a month of buying it!
I am not saying that it is a bad phone or something but you can get many better phones with more features than 3310. The negative points about 3310 are:
No in call display... I cant see how long I have been talking... no minute minder either.
No Auto Keylock... I end up calling the first person in my phone book!
No daily alarm function... you need to set it daily!
Battery stand by is not as good as other same segment handsets.
Does not support call conference (>= 3), which is available with all same priced handset.
Other similar handsets (Samsung 220) have WAP... it is missing over here!
I would recommend that instead of buying 3310 one can opt to buy SAMSUNG 220, Panasonic 90, SonyEricsson, etc. These phones are packed with features... are compact in size... and nothing beats the sound clarity and reception of Samsung!
The only plus point seems to be its brand value and the snake game it has!
