I previously owned a nokia 5110, it was not a great phone and I desperately wanted a new and better phone. I wanted a phone which looked really nice, which had many features, which was not as big as a brick and when I saw the nokia 3310 I thought thats the phone for me. This is a nice and slim phone.
It has predictive text input, this I found really helpful as this feature is not available on the 5110, I write long messages and this feature cuts the amount of time it takes me to write them. It was a bit trcky to use at first but then I got use to it.
The games on the phone are just fabulous, snake 2 for example, there are different levels and you can go through the walls etc. Also the space game is really good too.
It has reminders on the phone, I use this to remind me of birthdays, appointments, I find it really helpful.
You can have personalised ringtones and there is a massive selection to choose from if you just search on the net. Some sites are just dedicated to ringtones. Also you can have icons on your phone, which just makes the phone more personalised. You even can get changeable front covers but there is not much good ones.
It has vibrate alert, this feature for me is just fantastic because in my lectures when my phone goes off I get yelled at but now I know that I am getting a call without disrupting the rest of the people.
It has alarms, I use them a lot, I need them to wake me up in the mornings, I find it very useful.
This phone is a dual band phone which allows you to make and receive calls around the world. There are many other feature packed in to this phone.
This phone has quickly become very popular and more people are dropping their old phones for the 3310. The Nokia 3310 is fairly small, smaller than the 3210 and unlike the 5110 it does not have an external aerial, so now I dont have to worry about accidently breaking it in my pocket. They have made this phone brilliantly in all respects from design to the features.
It cost about £100 but I think the prices may rise again because it is becoming more popular. It is definitley well worth the money.
