I have purchased this phone in May 2008. I had this phone for Rs. 5500/-. I was thinking that I must be happy by having features like 2MP Camera, Bluetooth, Slim, Good Looking, Sound Player, Earphone.
But, after using for few months, I am feeling that my decision was highly wrong. The reasons:
Phone gets hot n hotter once your talk is going to extend by 10 minutes. You even can not touch the phone. Should I say’It’s HOT!’
Earphone is of highly poor quality. You can not hear the sound of the person clearly. The same case when you speak. You have to shout.
While travelling and even at so many places, the FM radio will not have clear sound. Even phones worth Rs. 1500/- will have good radio transmission.
Nokia Care Centre does not have’Data Backup Facility’. I have tried on Internet and have found that only one software is required for Data Backup for all the Nokia mobile phones. Can you think, if one person does not have a PC, how he/she can take Data Backup before giving the phone to repair at Nokia Care Centre.
Just by spending mere Rs. 1200/- more, I would have a far far better handsent. Specially of Nokia itself.
Conclusion: Please do not try to have this phone. The metal ring(which gives fancy look) becomes much hot when you talk on phone. If you can not have comfort while talking, does it make any sense to have this handset.
PS: I am goint to report these problems with Nokia Care withing few days, and will update my feedback on this handset.
