Okay bought this set much before I read the reviews on this site. This is my third model(all previous ones were nokia) and I have graduated from 3110 to 1100 to finally this set and all I can say that it was a wise decision to stick with nokia.
The earlier 2 sets which I owned had phenomenal bty life which is not there for this phone but compared other media enabled sets except for N series this has a better bty life. Next being a salaried class govt employee I always wanted a set with all features put in N series but was unable to afford but this set gives all those features and that too under rs 6K. It would be fair to call it a poor man’s Nseries phone. As far as reception is concerned it works very well even when the signal is very poor. Who says its display is poor infact it is very good, . Now a word about its camera, the results are extremely good if photos are taken in good light conditions otherwise not very encoraging results if viewed on TFT screen.
It’s design is sleek and sporty. and lastly it has a very user friendly menu which is a hallmark of nokia sets and its modem is absoloutely splendid. Only one shortcoming ie of its bty but even that can be overcome if it is recharged when the bty is completely drained. overall a good buy.
