I bought this one 4 months back. I just have to say this- I’ve never been happier with a phone all these years. All my friends are stunned at the number of features this phone offers at this price(Rs6400).
Although it has its pros and cons like every other phone, but the balance is heavily tilted in this phone’s favour.
First the Pros: EDGE, MP3 player with high-end sound quality on its little speaker as well as the headphones that come with the kit, No symbian means no viruses and no decrease in processing speed even when memory is full, 2MP camera with video, unlimited sms memory, bluetooth, super reception and sound quality, 256MB micro card, besides all the other basic features(Java etc) that mid-range phones offer, is light, sleek and stylish for its price. Most web applications like opera, mig etc work on this phone, and yeah it has nice big keys so you dont hit the wrong ones while texting.
Now the Cons: 2MP camera disappoints- poor quality photos/videos- useless in dim light, No Symbian means no downloading of some applications(but believe me you dont need any of them- ur better off without it) screen is a bit small but bright enough to be seen clearly in sunlight, battery is disappointing- need to recharge it for an hour everyday even with minimal use.
Overall, if you look at the cost-benefit ratio, this phone beats every other phone in its range. Nokia phones are reliable and if battery, symbian and screen size are not too important for you, then go for it. Good luck.
