I have been using Nokia Slide 3600 for about 3-4 years now. I purchased it for about Rs. 10, 000 back then and since I paid so much for this phone I would obviously have high expectations. Firstly, the biggest drawback is the call quality. The volume even at its highest is so low that it is very hard to hear when you are out at a noisy place and often I have had to hang up saying I will call back as I just could not hear. When it comes it messaging I have to check each message by coming back to the list of messages and clicking on them rather than just being able to scroll and see all the messages at one go, a feature which I have seen in plenty of cheap phones. There is no feature wherein you block someone and hence if you wish to avoid receiving calls from someone you will just have to change the SIM card !!! The camera which is 3.2 MP with a flash is just terrible. The quality can be compared to that of 1.2 MP camera.
The sound quality again is no good. Many a times I have missed a call when the phone was in my bag because I simply could not hear it ring or feel it vibrate despite keeping it on the highest volume and now the biggest problem after using it for quite some time is that the battery is starting to die on me ever so often. If I charge the phone tonight, the battery would be down by tomorrow afternoon just after making a couple of brief calls and the camera is worse than ever now with dark black spots appearing on photos I take and the phone is also very slow when I use an animated theme, so slow that I have to wait like 2 seconds after clicking before a menu opens up. The radio reception is pretty bad too.
I am always trying to adjust the headphone so that the reception is better but to no avail and moreover now the battery backup is so bad that after playing a song or two the phone starts flashing low battery warning. I could go on and on about how many features it lacks and how bad it is. Now I am forced to change my phone though I don’t wish to coz this phone is just becoming useless by the day.
It’s a terrible buy and I am so unhappy with my purchase that I will never buy a Nokia phone again as they are expensive and come with little features.
