Nokia 3610, quite a famous cellphone, and why it shud not be famous, it has everything a phone of that range shud have. The best feature of the set being the flashy backlight that is very helpful when u r in dark places. Really that is just like a tubelight. And even the keypad is of new kind. The keypad is kind of transparent, so that u can easily see the numbers on it in the dark. The cell is available with trendy and cool changing covers, as Nokia calls them Express-on covers. ( I wonder why they call so?) the lime color cover is really good, but generally it is available in white color body. Another major point over which this phones scores is that its WAP enabled. Its not like 3310 or 3315. If ur service provider gives WAP, then u can go and enjoy that too. The rhythmic backlight alert is another feature which is not a new one, but is incorporated in it. The battery life is good. I guess thats why Nokia is called ’’The Best’’ in the cellfone industry. Nokia knows what people want and how they want it. Its not at all a heavy set. And in this budget I guess this is the set I wud recommend anyone to go for. Has everything that a normal nokia phone has. Alarm, clock, rhythmic backlight alert, light weight, can send upto 3 concatenated 3 SMS in one message, picture editor for u to edit and make ur own picture message and send to ur friends and express ur feeling the way u want. Then there is the standard Nokia composer with which u can compose ur own ringtones and even end them to ur other frnds also. Additional features are stopwatch, countdown timer and the handsfee kit, although the kit is not shipped with the phone, u can get it separately form any dealer. The level of customization can be imagined by the fact that u can even put ur personalized ringtones as ur SMS tone and u can download operator logo if ur service provider allows downloading of operator logos. You can even download ringtones and picture messages or compose ur own.
So basically the bottom line being that this is wonderful phone with un-matched phone in this range.
