When I had planned to buy a new phone in the last quarter of 2006, I was looking for a phone with a decent camera and mp3 player. I purchased the phone in Dubai at a cost of approx. INR 10, 000; surely the price must have dropped to 5K to 6K range by now.
I am using the phone for just over a year, and these are the points I can make:
*Pros**:
Good camera; Image quality is pretty good in daylight, however the video quality is left to be desired a bit.
Mp3. Good sound quality; had to replace the nokia earphone later as the earpiece came out.
Sturdy built. Contrary to some of the complaints reagarding the slider, I haven’t faced any problem as yet. Also me and my mates have dropped the phone on multiple occasions and that still hasn’t caused a problem.
*Cons**:
- The only one problem I have with the phone is its **BATTERY LIFE**. That depends on the usage, this includes surfing the web using GPRS, listening to songs, yapping away to your amigos and significant other for hours. A phone with these kind of features usually fail on the battery life.
Notes:
Use a scratch guard.
Replaced the phone cover once; a black one. Looks classy now!
