5610D as the tag line rightly says. go for this Junk only if you think u have a lots of money and you don’t care which Junk are you buying.
I have bought this piece of junk from Subhiksha who claims to be the largest retailer who sells every piece of such junk at cheapest price.
I had got this mobile for 12300 on 14 th of Feb. I dint use this junk for the 1st 5 days as I was a little busy to transfer the contacts or may be God wanted me to sleep well for those 5 days I guess!
*The Major problem with this phone is rebooting.*
The phone looks really good n tempts any one to buy.The initial 2 days went of really good as didnt use it much.But after the 3rd day it strtd showing its originality.
I was on fone for almost 15-20 minutes and the other person was talking.all of a sudden the phone rebooted itself.By rebooting I mean it went completely blank.no signs of booting back.then I had to press the power button to turn it on.i tot it was a problem thats not too serious.unfortunately I was wrong, the trouble was too serious.I later listened to music for almost 40 minutes and the same thing happened again.
I just ignored it as I was out of station and couldnt reach a Nokia care centre near by for the next 10 days.the problem did get very serious and irritating when the phone started rebooting while I was on call.sometimes it reboots or just switches off after 15 minutes or at the max 25 minutes.if you listen to music.it stands for 40-50 minutes.
I took it to Subhiksha first befor taking it to Nokia care centre immediately after getting back to Chennai only to learn that this mobile has many known issues and that I shouldn’t contact them anymore for any such problems as they only SELL THE PRODUCT AT CHEAPEST PRICE and DONT EVER CARE what happens to the product after they SELL it.
I visited the near by Nokia care who then guided me to the main branch.I had to wait for 2 hours before I could be attended by an agent.
The Nokia Care people are so careless who just told me that this is a known issue with all the phones of this model and this would just need a firmware upgrade or most commonly known as Software upgardation.I had got my phone after 5 days.The firmware upgradation did reduce the rebooting of the phone from say 10 times to 4 times but not completely .
*Battery Life**: battery life is something I consider most important in any cell phone we use.I would rate 1 out of 5 in this aspect.After the firmware upgradation it worked well and it lasts for around 1.5 days if the usage is around 2 hours of Talktime and about 2 hours of music a day with a few messages.
*Built: **I would rate it 1.5 out of 5.the slider is always a risk and could come out fast if your usage is more.i dont often use the slider key as I have heard horror stories of people describing about the Nokia care when the slider goes off.
*Music:** Not really great considering it is a music phone as SE is far better than it.
*CAUTION: **I would suggest any one who is PLANNING TO buy this product not to go for it and its a waste of money as said earlier.and if you STILL dare to do that .am spell bound.
