I Brought this phone after my sony k750i. let me start with the good features this phone has got.
i was looking for device that can be a good mp3 player, good mobile, better battery backup. I found all these in nokia 5800.
8gb memory expandable up to 16gb. at 8gb you can store good number of music collections.
very good display, 16m colors.
good battery backup.
good 3rd part application available.
using internet is easy, wifi is just great.
I have installed Step counter in my mobile and it keep track of my walking and very good analysis report. this is just amazing. a must app in noika. I am happy with the nokia 5800 bcoz its a 8gb ipod + PDA + good battery back, which we dont get in IPOD and PDA.
After using Sony , I feel nokia sound quality is very poor. there is no joy in listening to the music. earphone provided with nokia is waste.
i replace nokia ear phone with CX300 and its just grate. still not equal to sony sound quality.
GPS not satisfied with the signal. I get connected to satellite 15 -20 mins.
the user interface could have been improved, let say I have 50 songs out of some bunch of files and I have to make a play list, in nokia I have to select each song and add to play list which is not good.
like SMS also if I want to delete bulk selected sms from phone. its not easy.
3.2 mega pix camera is a joke in nokia. why I say like this ? check out pic quality of 1 mp sony 750i. this 3.2mp pic quality not even near. nokia is fooling the people by saying 3.2 mp cam.
I recommend this phone for people who are not very much keen on sound quality and camera. If you want to buy a Ipod 8gb or less, if u want to buy a basic entry level pda buy this phone it save ur money

Sorry now I had faced few problem with this set which I want to mention. this phone hangs a lot and too slow. bluetooth is just waste, never work with my car.
