I had a Nokia 5310 Xpress Music and wasnt really in awe of the music quality...I wanted a better music experience..I researched and narrowed down to two choices (i had a budget of abt 15k max)- Ipod touch 8 gb 3 rd gen and Nokia 5800.
After finding out that Ipod touch doesnt have radio; I more or less made up my mind to buy Nokia so that not only my music experience would get better but also the overall phone experience would improve. I was a bit skeptical first but after reading reviews and going to a couple of electronic stores to "feel" the phone; I decided to take the plunge.
My Nokia 5800 arrived 3 days ago and I am still in awe of the phone!! What a phone!!! The retail package was loaded- I got a free Sennhexiser headset free with the purchase-other standard accessories and a free voucher to dwnload 100 songs from Nokias music store.I was using a touch phone for the 1st time so took a few hrs to get used to it.
The phone has a really nice User Interface (ok, no1 can match the Iphone); an awesome music player; a decent camera and all the other features (like 3g, wlan)..Some cons of the ph are the extra sensitive sensor; single/double touch confusion. But I would describe it as "value for money" phone. It is much cheaper than other good touch phones ( be it the Iphone or HTC Diamond) but has almost all features that these phone have...A definite buy if u are looking for the touch experience at an affordable price....!!
