Nokia has launched its mid-range smart phone Nokia 6 which is priced at 16999 rupees, which I feel is a little more of a higly priced.this smartphone has 5.5 inch IPS LCD full hd screen, which do not follow the latest screen to body ratios like 18: 9 or 19: 9 which is kind of salty for nokia becouse this 2018 we expect nokia to provide decent price to value. the screen comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 which average. To compare with there many smartphones under 15000 rupees which provides the latest screen to body ratio.talking about the built quality, we all know its nokia the built quality has to be great, it has aluminum series 6000 at the back which a quality material and should give a very premium feel to the user, nokia is always known for constructing a hard and durable smartphones which is carried in this one also, so in case of built quality and inhand feel hands down it would be awesome.Coming to the Chipset it uses snapdragon 630 which is clocked at 2.2 ghz and an ADRENO 508 GPU, this chipset is a powerful mid-range processor which means it would be capable of running heavy apps smoothly without any lag.it comes out of the box with android oreo which is a great thing. This device comes in two variants one is 32Gb with 3GB of Ram and other one is 64GB with 4GB of Ram, here nokia should have kept only 4Gb variant becouse for a 3 Gb ram phone the price is very high and it makes this smartphone look low on specs. Now coming to the camera, when all the other manufacturers are improving the camera with the latest trend however nokia decided to stick to the old and boring single camera setup. The rear camera on this device is a 16MP single sensor shooter with F/2.0 aperture with carl zeiss optics, phase detection, auto focus which is all average and a front camera is a 8MP shooter. In this year of 2018 nokia is still not providing a dual camera setup at this price which is quite not acceptable and maybe the deal braker here, being a single camera is not capable of taking some great portraits and other depth effects which can be easily seen in much cheaper devices.it comes with nokia ozo audio with 2 mics which makes the reception even more clear and crisp.it also has the latest bluetooth 5.0 which is capable of connecting 2 devices at a time.it also supports fast charging which charge your phone upto 50% in only half hour, and comes with a USB type C, which is great and is commonly not seen in this price range.it has a 3000 mah non removable battery which is not great but average.the design looks good but it lacks the latest screen to body ratio, the device should be user friendly as it is nokia, they make durable and well built smartphones, styling is old and boring but is barable.IN my eyes the device does not provide value for money, if the price were lower it would have been more exciting.
