I bought this phone as soon as it was on the markets. And so I paid a price for this phone which is much higher than the current price. Bought it for Rs. 9, 300.00 and I think it has reached Rs. 6, 800.00 now. Anyweyz, no regrets. Its going to be a year now (May 2006) and the phones usage and features have done enough justice for the price I paid.
I would be happy if it has a Bluetooth feature and an MP3 capability, but thats why they have Nokia 6600 ;o)
So I decided not to be greedy this time.
The picture clarity has been excellent. Dont expect something spectacular when I say excellent. In its class, N6020 offers an excellent picture clarity. I downloaded a high resolution picture and displayed it in my TV screen through a DVD. The full screen display has been impeccable. No complaints.
The other good thing is that I was able to pickup a hard copy photo of the same for Rs. 5/- Thanks to technology! An instant photo from my mobile for five bucks!
I havent been able to use the e-mail options in this phone as my service provider doesnt have this facility. And the other feature which couldnt be put to use was PTT (Push To Talk) technology, which is the main attractive feature being offered with this phone... sad...
The battery life is decent enough. The phone doesnt get heated up even if I use it continuously for an hour or so. I personally didnt like the earphones, as it is a single ear piece, when most offer a twin ear piece now. The clarity wasnt that great.
The keypad is one of the advantages of this one. Really ergonomical one. A good joystick feature. Decently backlit keypads.
And at last, the best feature of N6020. Im someone whos used to dropping phones much frequently. I would have dropped this phone atleast 30 times in the past year... touch wood... still no major complaints excepting the minor scratches on the corners.
