I bought Nokia 6021 for Rs. 7200 in September, 2005. The phone turned out to be much better than I had actually thought to be. I asked a couple of dealers in Bangalore about the features of the phone. Apparently they did not know much about those -- may be because it is new.
It has lot of cool features:
65536 color screen. Far Far better than 6610.
Infra Red Port -- Some dealers told me that it does not have one. So, till last min I wasn’t sure if it has... Finally it has one:). Same as 6610.
Bluetooth. It paired very easily with my IBM T42 laptop and with my Jabra bluetooth head set. New feature vs 6610.
Loudspeaker. You can talk without keeping the phone close to your ear. same as in Nokia 6610. Better Quality
Push to talk (PTT) - though it does not work on GSM networks in Bangalore, I suppose. new feature.
Hotkey (on left side of the phone) to change volume - same as 6610.
Triband phone: Will work in US. Same as 6610.
Headset (Wired handsfree). It comes with a cool headset with one earpiece with a good mike. You can use it on a bike under a helmet as well. I use it with no issues. The mike will always remain very close to your mouth. This is 10x better than the headset that comes with 6610. You may not really need a bluetooth headset. In fact I sometimes prefer this headset to the bluetooth headset that I have.
Interface is also pretty cool. The ’’Go to’’ option is pretty cool. Easily you can switch profiles, switch on bluetooth, infrared, set alarm etc. etc.
Nokia PC Suite that comes along or is downloadable from net is pretty cool and worked without any issues for me.
It does not have FM Radio or a camera. That actually makes it ideal for a corporate business phone.
I had a 6610 before this and 6021 is a pretty good enhancement from 6610, unless you want to invest too much, which I did not. I wanted a bluetooth phone with good color display and good features. This phone is Nokia 6610 -- FM + Bluetooth + PTT+ better color display + lot of other good features.
Overall highly recommended phone if you do not want a camera & FM radio.
