I bought this phone about 3 months back although I had a camera phone (Nokia 3230) with me. Camera phones are not allowed in our office. So went to my trusted dealer and asked for a phone that did not have a camera. But using the Nokia 3230 I had got used to listening to FM radio. So the one thing I required was an FM radio in my mobile. And that is when the dealer showed me this little beauty.
The dealer showed me some other phones like Nokia 6610, but I did not want to spend more than Rs 6000 on a new phone. So I bought this phone. It comes with Headphones which also doubles as hands free.
The Radio is quite good, although not like in Nokia 3230. The phone comes in three colors: Black, Golden and Silver. I have the Golden color. One of my friends has the black one and it looks cute.
The phone supports themes with 3 three in-built themes. You can download more.
The screen although small is quite adequate and the resolution is superb.
On the applications front it has all the usual stuff like an Alarm Clock, Organizer, Currency Converter, and Calculator. But this phone comes only with one game and I don’t like that at all.
One thing I noticed in the phone was that it has support for only Large Fonts for messages, though there is a setting that can be done, there is no option for small fonts. But this does not hinder in any way in sending messages at all. My phone also supports sending messages in Hindi and Marathi, and the keypad also has devanagri script on it.
Although the phone has a provision for a data cable I have not tried my hands on it.
The phone does not have infrared and Bluetooth. But you cannot ask for it in such a low price.
Believe me, if you want a phone that looks smart and is functional then go for it.
I got it for Rs 5500(with bill), but now I think you will get it for much less.
