Hi, Myself Vishal......I have used so many nokia phones starting from N3310 To N3230.....Nokia 3230 was the worst smart phone. I have written my review on that also The worst smartphone. I was forced to have a phone that doesnt have a camera because My office doesnt allow such devices because of security issues....
So I researched a lot and explored a lot of sites to find a phone that doesnt have a camera, should have nice display and obviously good features...I am crazy about Music...So I also wanted to get a phone with atleast feature of Radio....
First I thought of Samsung C230....but a lot of user reviews mentioned that its FM Reception quality is not good....
One day, one of my friend told me about N6030....So I decided to give it a go........Both of us went to Nokia dealer to know more about it.......And I was surprized & delighted when I saw it......It looking is not less than those expensive sets of Sony Ericsson......Going with its ultimate looking and nice features....I decided to buy it....It cost me only rs. 5150.....
Now here I am going to share my experience with this lovely toy....I will try my best to be as much informative as I can but I wont key out its features in details as any one can get it from Nokia site....
As I told earlier...its looking is fantastic....I did like some other features also...some of these are:
Its FM Reception quality is very good....and to search for the new channels is a breeze...
Nice display
Those silver boundary around the phone looks great.
Calender is well organized
Improved Contacts
Typing messages is very easy as this phone has a huge and easy to use keypad.
Now the fact on which So much controversies and arguments took place is Does this phone has PC Connectivity come in to the action....
You, all those reading this review would be enthralled to know that THIS PHONE DOES HAS PC CONNECTIVITY. I bought its USB data cable from Nehru place, New Delhi for Rs. 300.
When I came home with this cable...I saw no logic to connect it to the port given at the left side of Fm lead port.....I felt myself looted and foolish as I should have checked it then and there while purchasing it...
So I went there the very next day...and started shouting at Shopkeeper that He is making the people fool....
But I was astonished when he told me the way to connect the cable....it was really strange...U have to lift up the back cover of phone...In the right side of SIM Holder there seem some electronic connection...It doesnt look like a port at all but this is the place where this cable gets attached........I again came home...installed cable drivers from the CD(Came with the data cable package). And to my surprise..its working perfectly..........I can transfer images, themes, tones, applications and games easily.....
So this phone is not so bad worth rs. 5150 when u got so many great features.....on the contrary...it is great....Simple & sober, robust, nice looking..............................
Bye Friends,
Vishal Sharma
