The Nokia 6030 is a very special phone for me because this was my first ever mobile fone.....I purchased one after having a deep look into the mobile market....and the looks of this mobile was too good for me....simply cute and classy...
So I got myself one for Rs 5200/- on December 2005, which was pretty costly for a mobile of its features.. But soon realised that I had bought a superb set..one which looked much more upmarket than it was...and also oozed of quality...
The nokia 6030 is a very cute set....it has got great looks but the more important thing is that it has the GO also, not only the SHOW....it is a high quality mobile....nice keypad, nice classy body, comfortable to hold...and another important thing is that talking for long durations is so comfortable with this fone.....
Even hours of talking doesnt make u feel uncomfortable or dizzy...and sound clarity and reception is awesome....it has a nice antena, I suppose...like most other nokia fones...screen is pretty decent, although not outstanding or eye catching...just ok, i should say....
The fone also has a pretty loud ringtone volume...but the sad thing is it supports only MIDI files....and memory is also very low...just around 2 MB....but this gives a slight advantage...browsing through the files is really fast....and another thing to say is that net browsing using this mobile is pretty cool....
Its much faster than browsing the net using motorola fones, coz I have used a moto L6 also...the fone has a nice battery backup too...like most nokia fones of its range....One nice thing about the fone is that it has got FM...which is very necessary nowadays...and the headfone that comes with the fone is the ordinary nokia headfones which comes with almost all low end nokia fones....its a pretty decent one and has decent sound clarity and volume....
I am not using this phone any more, as I had handed it over to my sister when I bought a moto L6.....but still I get my hands on this fone once in a while, because its that kind of a mobile...once u associated with it..its really impossible to part with this fone...seems like this cutie has a character for itself....My sister is also in love with it and takes very good care of it....
The only problem it came across after almost 3 yrs of rigorous use(approximately 800-900 hours of talking) is that its battery lost its ability to stand for a long time...but replacement of the battery has rectified this problem....thats it.....Nothing else to tell in the problems and complaints department....this is what I call QUALITY and RELIABILTY.....hats off to nokia for producing such a high quality mobile, although its Nokia’s nature to produce awesome mobiles... Cute looks, Nokia’s hereditary Ease of use, quality and reliability, and ergonomics make this mobile a winner.....And it will always remain in my heart as the cutest mobile I have ever seen....and also because it has been my first mobile....:)
