The Nokia 6030 is a basic yet stylish phone, and it has a raised keypad, which makes it easy to dial by feel. The speakerphone and the built-in radio are a nice touch. Its quite useful for people who ride a lot, and are bored riding bikes in the heavy traffic. They can plug in the headset and listen to crystal clear FM Radio.
Measuring 4 by 1.7 by 0.7 inches and weighing 3.17 ounces has a simple candy bar design. It has smooth, rounded corners and a sleek black and silver color scheme that adds style to its otherwise basic appearance. You can personalize the Nokia 6030 with a variety of themes, wallpaper, screensavers, graphics, and alert tones. Java (J2ME) games included with the phone are Block Breaker, Club Pinball, and Tetris. You can purchase additional ring tones via airtel masala which is free to browse, as well as additional graphics, games, and applications.
In an argument I threw my 6030 with full force out of anger, you know what!!!!. The peices flew in all direction and just the machine was visible. I found sim, battery the front and back cover and managed to assemble it back. THE PHONE WORKS GREAT, THERE WERE NO BROKEN ENDS, ONLY FEW SCRATCHES WHICH WERE INVISIBLE ON THE SILVER BACKGROUND.
I had a 6600 earlier which I gave it my wife because it was too bulky and could not be kept in my Jeans pocket , hangs sometimes and the biggest worry was what if it gets robbed. Now I dont have to worry much because most of the time 6030 is in my pocket and not in my hands.
