I bought Nokia6060 for Rs.4800 after my new Motorola L6 got stolen. This is the first Clamshellphone that I have purchased. First impression matters , and my initial decisionto purchase this phone was based on its great looks. I must say that this isone of the best designed phones Nokia has produced in recent times, because asfar as design is concerned Nokia cannot stand a chance in front of Motorolassleek and sexy models. However, this one is an exception. The phone comes in twocolours Black & Chrome but the Chrome model looks much better and classierthan the Black one. Well moving ahead from the looks department this phone hasa big, bright and clear display. Its screen is in-fact better than many otherNokia phones which fall in the same price category. The Keypad is soft and ismade of transparent plastic, so the numbers on the pad will not fade off. Ithas four-way navigation control with a select key in the centre (this makesnavigation extremely simple & user friendly). It has decent features for aphone in its price range (u cannot get Bluetooth and mp3 in sub 5k phone). Thereception of this phone is also very good and as I found out I also got thenetwork in a elevator (this is probably because this phone as a externalantennae). Battery life is just about Ok and I have to charge it every 2 days (myusage is not very high, so someone with high usage will have to charge it on adaily basis). As far as durability is concerned, I cannot say much cause I haveused this phone for just a period of 2 months and it has to go through lots ofrigours to pass this test. However, I feel that Clamshell phones are not asdurable as candy bar models as u have to constantly open and close them when inuse. All in all this is a great phone, with decent amount of features, fantastic looks plus good sound and reception.
