Hello there,
First I must say what are my requirements/expectations from the cellphone. I
want a cellphone to be used as a cellphone not as a camera/MP3 player/FM Radio/access
the internet. So pretty basic requirement ...haan...second my budget is with in
5000 rupees. You might be thinking why Nokia ? and why this model?
First I have a soft corner for nokia as they have survived the test of time
along side its competitors. My first cellphone was a samsung one and currently
using a moto razr. So I have some knowledge about latest cell phone trends.
Why I bought it - In less than 5000, it was offering a camera of 0.3 Megapix.
Ya I know its very less but do you really care whether it is 1 or 2 megapix.
second its feather light weight. As opposed to many other nokia models, this
one is light - my moto razr is a lot more heavier than this one. I didnt want
it but it provides me a FM tuner too. The sound clarity is just awesome. But you
can say these are regular features. Check the key pad you know what I am saying.
I got the model from nokia priority center in 4500 rupees and the one I bought
key pad was nice. Be careful with the demo models as they are tested by every
other person. Final take is the large display size absent in many other models
below 5k price.
cons - It
could have been a little thinner. Then I must say it could have been one of the
best models below 5K. Next the display size is big, but not so brighter as
compared to other models. Volume up and down button is a little uncomfortable
to use - they thought it is one of the least used features probably. cheers to
my first nokia.
verdict - What
more to expect below 5k tight budget, with 3.5 hrs of talk time, most
importantly light weight and soft key pad. 0.3 megapix camera, FM tuner with
amazing sound clarity comes as a bonus. cheers hope this review helps somebody.
I started
liking my nokia already.
