Recently I purchased Nokia 6110 Navigator which has inbuilt GPS navigation. But I was surprised to find that apart from the user manual the navigatio features were not elaborated properly. Somehow I learned the navigational feature by myself but when I went to the Lajpat nagar Nokia Service centre quering about how will download the nokia maps update the lady started screaming at me quoting that you should go to nokia web site and learn youreself how to update.
I wanted to abuse her but I stooped myself although the lady kept the same attitude all the time. It was not surprising for me as I know that in India we get nothing in the name of service and these service centres hire idiots like that lady who only work there to get money for lipstick purpose. However my real point is if they can simply reject giving me a simple update information which obviously they dont know just imagine what they will do to the rest of the people who has lots of other issues even bigger and complicated than me.
I believe that it is attitude of the people in service centre like that that makes you earn a negative image about the product. The same is true for all the big brands, everything is ok as long as the equipment works but once there is a fault or a problem then u r screwed up. U r then left with the mercy of these idiots who knows nothing and they are even proud of that. My thinking is that how can a company like nokia let this happen to us. I guess my answer is this is India where no body gives a dam about public service.
