To boot, this phone has a huge issue with its inbuilt earpiece volume. You need to hear the other person on speakerphone or an audio enhancement (earplugs) unless you’re making your call from an absolutely quiet place (which most of the time we’re not). I thought I had a defective piece, but I met another person with absolutely the same issue.
The other major drawback is the absence of a slot to add extra memory...so you’re basically stuck with the inbuilt 32 MB, which is enough for most usages, but the phone doesn’t double up as a good camera or an MP3 player simply because of memory shortage!
That said, its quite a sleek piece, and is pretty easy to handle. There’s no standard phone feature that is missing - radio/bluetooth/infrared etc. The slide is pretty efficient and stable, and the phone works well with an enhancement.
Why should you buy it? There’s very few of them around and it comes for a good price for what it offers.
