I bought this phone from Bombay (Rediffshopping) in Nov 07 because I wanted a new phone with warranty from the Nokiastables which would support mp3 and have good connectivity. The Nokia 6120C isknown as Nokias best kept secret. That is the truth. A marvellous phonewith solid build quality.
I accidently dropped this phone from my bike whiletravelling and except for some chipped marks the phone is still fantasticperformer. this phone is a symbian 3rd edition. You can install software’s likesmart movie, resco viewer, yahoo messenger, gmail, google maps, quickoffice..............I have hacked the software and it lets me install unsignedversions of soft wares also. The phone handles 2GB card without a strain; Ihaven’t tried out any higher capacity micro SD cards yet
I have upgraded the firmware of this phone2-3 times thro the net connection, thereafter the interval between rechargeshas increased.
The only complaint that I have is thequality of the navigation button, the paint has pealed off which makes it lookvery old. (Older that it really is). The 2 megapixel camera could have alsobeen better. I paid Rs11000/- for it then Nov07. I have no regrets. 100% valuefor money and it still works well :> if you are buying one get the firmware upgraded with theNokia software which is easily downloadable.
The USB cable needed for upgrading/connecting to your pc/ laptop is available at any computer shop for Rs30-40/-.
A highlyrecommended phone for those who will travel a lot and use the feature thatit offers in plenty.
