Hello, I too had gone through reviews at this site and spent about two weeks analysed all the reviews. Here’s what I did and why????
My first cell was panasonic D92 bought at high cost in late ninetee’s and still working. used three nokia sets between 2001 and 2005. That means I stick to a thing if its good....
lats year I and my wife opted for Tata Indicom Handsets Nokia 3105 along with rental Connections. we used them but over a period of time developed pain in my ears due to use, this April 2006, mere ringing of phone annoyed me and my wife too started complaining. Added to this was Doctors Week at PGI chandigarh July 1-7, 2006, where I attended two Talks on Cellphone and a seminar at British Library.
I disconnected my Connection at Rohtak Tata Office. Used None for two weeks But Cell Phones are Dangerous Need of Mankind Now. So I Started for GSM Sets Now. Tried Samsung but speakers were too Sharp rather painful. Tried Motorola, But High Cost Compared to services offered . Tried Sony but no resale and poor external speaker phone quality.
Then I went through base phone of nokia, none suitable. Finally 6233. its love at first site, Steel Body, Speakers ahaa!! TWO one each side , now I talk on speaker phone with 200% voice clarity, hear music even if I am in train, bus or driving my own sedan. I added 512 mb card and two movies come inside the set with data cable and the software provided and during journey its pleasure. Battery Backup 3 days. with normal one hour song and two hour calls.
Phone as usual Good Enough, I store 500*5 plus numbers and its my complete office.
